What’s Causing Cancer In Dogs?

CANINE BONE MARROW

There was an article published in the Science Daily on the 3.9.08  (That was taken from the North Carolina State University) that said “Dogs suffering from lymphoma will be able to receive the same type of medical treatment as their human counterparts, as North Carolina State University becomes the first university in the nation to offer canine bone marrow transplants in a clinical setting”.

Sar Rooney’s comment:

Cancer in Dogs: Its great that dogs are being offered the same privileges as humans when it comes to mainstream cancer treatments (as the rate of cancer in dogs is rapidly increasing) but I can’t help thinking that it would be great if there was more information out there about cancer prevention rather than offering more and more expensive treatment options.

Personally, I believe that regularly feeding your pet commercial dog foods instead of a natural diet; excessive vaccinations and regular pesticide use (e.g. Revolution, Advantage, etc) may be partly responsible for the increased rates of cancer in dogs (and there is a growing amount of research to back this up).

However, in my opinion there are also other causes for the rising numbers of canine cancer cases and I talk about this in my eBook on ‘Canine Cancer‘. This eBook is included at no charge when you purchase ‘Heal Your Dog Naturally which is available here: www.HealYourDogNaturally.com

For more information about cancer prevention or treatments that support a dog’s immune function, consult a holistic veterinarian or a qualified animal naturopath that works in conjunction with a veterinarian. A holistic veterinarian or an animal naturopath can help you with the correct nutritionally-balanced, natural diet for your dog as well as high-quality herbal medicines for dogs and other cancer prevention treatments for your much-loved dogs.

Our clients have a common interest in the health and wellbeing of their dog and are looking for natural preventative health programs and natural remedies for dogs such as herbal medicines and homeopathy that are often not offered by veterinary practices or veterinarian clinics in Australia and New Zealand. Canine natural pain relief and natural animal therapy for inflammation are common conditions that may benefit from naturopathic animal health treatments and holistic pet care.
